Description:
Antanil®
 is a non systemic antacid preparation capable of neutralizing the excess acid and healing up the ulcers.

Composition:
Antanil® Tablet : Each tablet contains Aluminium Hydroxide BP 250 mg and Magnesium Hydroxide BP 400 mg.
Antanil® Suspension: Each 5 ml contains Aluminium Hydroxide Gel BP equivalent to Aluminium hydroxide BP 200 mg and Magnesium Hydroxide BP 400 mg.

Indication:
o Hyperacidity
o Gastritis, heart burn and dyspepsia.
o Peptic ulcer, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer.
Dosage and Administration:
Tablet : After meal, 2 tablets 3-4 times daily by chewing or as advised by the physician.
Suspension : After meal, 2 teaspoonful Antanil suspension 3-4 times daily or as advised by the physician.

Side effect:

Antanil® has little or no side effect. Diarrhoea or constipation may occur occasionally.
Precaution:
Antacid containing Aluminium Hydroxide should not be taken concomitanty with any form of Tetracycline & Digoxin as the absorption of latter may be affected.

Contraindication:
Antacid should not be used if the patient has the deficiency of phosphate and in case of patient with kidney failure.


How supplied:
Antanil® Tablet : Box contains 10 x 20's chewing tablets in blister strip
Antanil® Suspension : Bottle contains 200 ml of suspension.
